It prevents arcing when connecting a drive battery to the controller for electric models. It is important. Because even at low operating voltages (~ 10V) creates a flashover which damages the plug contacts when the battery is. After a certain time a reliable electrical connection is no longer guaranteed (increased contact resistance, voltage drop, heating, mechanical defects). The AntiFlash 70 is simply connected to the controller and plugged into this battery.
